Life has a way of bringing us into seasons we never expected.

Seasons where prayers seem delayed.

Seasons where obedience feels difficult.

Seasons where it seems like the pressure increases instead of decreases.

Many believers find themselves asking:

"God, why am I going through this?"

Yet Scripture reminds us that some of our greatest breakthroughs come through the very seasons we would rather avoid.

Obedience Produces Growth

One of the strongest truths shared in this message is that obedience always produces growth.

Not comfort.

Not convenience.

Not popularity.

Growth.

God often uses uncomfortable situations to strengthen our faith and deepen our dependence on Him. What feels like resistance today may actually be preparation for tomorrow.

The Battle Is Bigger Than People

Too often we spend our energy fighting people when the real battle is spiritual.

The enemy's goal is not simply to attack individuals. His goal is to create division, offense, distraction, and discouragement among God's people.

When believers become distracted, they lose focus on their assignment.

When believers become offended, they lose sight of God's purpose.

The enemy wants us focused on personalities while God wants us focused on purpose.

When Life Gets Weird

Pastor Kelker described a season many believers understand all too well—a season where everything feels strange.

Nothing seems normal.

The answers aren't coming.

The pressure keeps building.

And sometimes it feels like the enemy is talking louder than God.

Yet these moments often reveal where our trust truly rests.

Do we trust God only when everything is going well?

Or do we trust Him when nothing makes sense?

The Lord Is On Your Side

Psalm 118 declares:

"The Lord is on my side; I will not fear."

What a powerful promise.

When God is with you:

• Fear loses its authority.

• Anxiety loses its grip.

• Discouragement loses its power.

The circumstances may not change overnight, but your confidence changes when you remember Who is walking with you.

This Is the Lord's Doing

One of the central themes of the message comes directly from Psalm 118:

"This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes."

Not every difficult season is punishment.

Not every setback is failure.

Not every delay is denial.

Sometimes God is shaping your character.

Sometimes He is strengthening your faith.

Sometimes He is preparing you for something far greater than what you currently understand.

Bind It and Put It on the Altar

Many people carry burdens they were never meant to carry alone.

Financial struggles.

Family problems.

Fear.

Disappointment.

Depression.

Anxiety.

Pastor Kelker challenged the congregation to bind those burdens and place them on the altar before God.

The altar is not just a place of surrender.

It is a place of exchange.

We bring our burdens.

God gives us His peace.

Rejoice Anyway

The Bible says:

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Notice it doesn't say rejoice only when life is easy.

It doesn't say rejoice only when prayers are answered.

It says rejoice.

Faith often praises God before the breakthrough arrives.

Anyone can praise after the victory.

Mature believers learn how to praise while they are still walking through the battle.

God Has Not Forgotten You

If you find yourself in a difficult season today, remember:

The Lord is on your side.

God is still working.

God is still moving.

God is still faithful.

The very thing that feels overwhelming today may become the testimony that encourages someone else tomorrow.

Keep trusting.

Keep obeying.

Keep praising.

And remember:

"This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes."
