The Upper Room Call: Returning to the Power, Purity, and Presence of the Holy Spirit

Message by: Pastor Kelker on October 15 2025

There are divine moments where God interrupts our routine and calls us back to what first drew us to Him. As we journey through the Book of Acts, the Lord is reawakening something essential in His people — a return to power, purity, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

This message is not merely a teaching; it is an alignment. A recalibration. A revelation.

The Holy Spirit: The Patient Power of God

One of the greatest demonstrations of God’s heart is the temperament of the Holy Spirit. He does not get frustrated with our slowness, nor does He withdraw when we forget Him. He remains patient, present, and fully committed to the will of God for our lives.

The Holy Spirit is not here for His own agenda. He is here to empower you to fulfill God’s assignment.

When you fall short, He doesn’t condemn you —He speaks the heart of the Father to you.

He is the conduit between heaven, where God reigns, and earth, where we walk out our purpose.

And if your spirit hears THIS truth, your life will shift:

God had a plan before anyone had a plan for you. Before your parents knew you, God had already designed the path of your life.

Revelation 13:8 reminds us that nothing about your story surprised heaven. Your life is not random — it is purposed.

Where Is the Manifestation?

As the Church, we have mastered sounding spiritual — but not always living spiritual. We have become accustomed to:

  • Long speeches but short praise

  • Tongues without transformation

  • Scripture without manifestation

In the Book of Acts, the Holy Spirit didn’t inspire talk —He empowered movement.

We’ve learned how to pray loud but not live loud. We know how to rejoice when the music is right, but not always obey when the Holy Spirit tells us to be quiet.

The Holy Spirit is just as powerful when He says, “Speak” as when He says, “Be still.”

Atmosphere Matters

Your environment shapes your perception. Sometimes what you think you’re seeing is not what’s actually happening — it’s simply what your atmosphere is telling you.

Many believers carry desires that aren’t God’s — and then feel confused when the desires lead them to frustration. The Holy Spirit gently pulls us back into alignment before we sabotage ourselves.

The war we fight is not external — it’s internal. You can dress up your body, but Scripture says there is “no good thing” in the flesh. The flesh will always fight the plan of God.

You Are the Solution

Here is the message the Spirit pressed into the room:

Whatever happened to you has already happened —and now you are the solution.

Your praise is the response that unlocks what God already established.

God allows you to go through challenges so He has a testimony in the earth. Your struggle becomes His platform.

Tell someone next to you —“It’s not over. It’s just beginning.”

Because when it’s God’s plan, the “ending” is actually the opening.

When God’s Plan Overrides Your Loss

Your circumstances do not cancel God’s plan. Your money, your mistakes, or what people did to you cannot erase what God wrote.

You can lose things — even good things — and still not lose the plan. What God calls you to, He sustains you in.

The enemy wants to intimidate you out of what God gave you, but intimidation is not authorization. He can only attack what threatens him. The enemy only goes after kingdoms.

So ask yourself: Who is your crown intimidating?

God Won’t Give You the Best Until You Forgive the Worst

There is always a deeper work God is doing in us — forgiveness is one of them.

“God will not bless us with the best until we can forgive the worst.”

Affliction teaches us what comfort never can:

  • If you were never sick, you wouldn’t know He’s a healer.

  • If you were never confused, you wouldn’t know He’s your peace.

  • If you were never broken, you wouldn’t know He restores.

Your worship deepens in the places where you have been wounded.

Your Children Are Covered

Some parents beat themselves up because their children struggle with things they never sowed into them. Many of the battles your children face are not the product of your home — they are the enemy’s attempt to sabotage the next generation.

But you can prophesy crop failure over every seed the enemy tries to plant:

  • Disrespect → crop failure

  • Addiction → crop failure

  • Confusion → crop failure

  • Perversion → crop failure

Your praise has more authority than the enemy’s influence.

And God hears the prayers of children too — sometimes their prayer reaches God when yours is tired. Some parents are standing today because their child interceded for them.

Cut Back or Cut Down — Either Way You’re Being Shaped

Jesus said the branch that bears fruit is pruned, and the branch that bears no fruit is cut down.

Either way, something is getting cut.

But pruning is not punishment. Pruning is preparation.

Those who have endured the cut walk with a depth of worship that cannot be manufactured. They know God not from theory, but from rescue.

Your Adversity Is Not Your Ending

Many people fear death, fear sickness, fear loss, fear endings—but your life is not in the hands of doctors, circumstances, or danger. Testimonies of survival—accidents, falls, fires, diseases—remind us that God’s plan overrides the world’s predictions.

You are alive because purpose is alive.

Stop Waiting for “Will Be” — You Are Living in the “Is”

We often wait for manifestation, while God waits for praise.

Faith isn’t a future tense. Faith is NOW.

You don’t praise when it happens —you praise because it’s already established.

Done is not done until you become one with done.

Location Matters: The Upper Room Reality

God brought you into His presence for a reason. The Upper Room — located on Mount Zion — was the birthplace of:

  • The Last Supper

  • The revelation to Thomas

  • The outpouring of the Holy Spirit

It took humanity 4,000 years to align enough for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us rather than simply rest on us.

God is bringing His people back into that alignment now.

A Prayer for Alignment and Manifestation

As the pastor closed, he prayed over every believer:

  • that the Word would fall on good ground,

  • that distractions would be destroyed,

  • that faith would rise above fear,

  • and that praise would activate what God already established.

He reminded us:

Failure is not our future. Poverty is not our inheritance. Fear is not our destiny. We are more than conquerors — because we’ve already won.
